emotional intelligence?

How much of what we do is really based on a rational decision?

Most of us would like to believe we are rational creatures that make daily logical choices. However this is not always the case, even with

I am pleased to announce that there are now two office locations available for the convenience of my clients.

I have an office in the heart of Beverly Hills and in the center of Santa Monica.

In addition, I also am offering out-of-office services, such as web-based therapy using instant messaging products and house calls.

This is an alternative to people that are homebound or must do extensive traveling and would not otherwise be able to maintain regular appointments.

Web based therapy may be done via voice only and may be done

Typical circumstances are when someone is handicapped or injured so as it would be very difficult for them to come into the office. There are also interventions within business structures that require sessions on site.

Logic or Emotio

the best of intentions.

Our reasoning is to a very large degree based on our perception of a given situation. We use our logic as it applies to that perception. By the same token, our emotions are often triggered by what we perceive to be happening. If we have an ‘’emotional memory” about a situation, we react to that perception by making what we

believe is a logical decision, but is really an emotional decision because the decision is not based on a neutral premise. Since all of our perceptions are influenced by our own experiences, one could say most of our activities would be dictated by an emotional response.
